OUR VOLUNTEERS ROCK! September 13, 2008 was the Volunteer Appreciation Cookout. Someone asked who coordinated it...my answer was "No one. We're just a bunch of friends gathering to enjoy the park, the fellowship, good food, good music...much the same way as the miners did a couple of hundred years ago right here on this spot." Special thanks to Rick Foster for his superb DJ performance and Jeff Reese, the Grillmaster whose apron says "You kill it, I'll Grill it!"
