The Reed Gold Mine

One cannot visit Pine Mountain Gold Museum at Stockmar Park without feeling the influence of the fine Staff, Volunteers and Establishment of the Reed Gold Mine in Midland, NC. Our 1858 stamp mill found on the grounds next to the museum was donated by the Reed Gold Mine and transported by Vulcan Materials. The staff of Pine Mountain Gold Museum visited the Reed Gold Mine this year to observe and visit. We were welcomed and treated like royalty! If you are in the Charlotte, NC area, you'll be glad you stopped by there for a visit!
